The Role
The Product Line Manager works with the suppliers and the engineering team on improving the product offering and product lifecycle. They will also be responsible for maintaining and develop supplier relationship, supplier contracts, including terms and provisions, contract modification, stock and return rights & other sales incentive plan options. This role will supporting the Head of Strategy & Operations in optimising the product range incl. obsolete management.
Responsibilities
- Conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities and pricing fluctuations
- Setting and creating most effective mix of product lines that aligned with TechPoint Golledge strategy plan.
- Source and negotiate with existing suppliers, assess their capabilities and evaluate their suitability based on predefined criteria.
- Identify and negotiating contracts and terms with new and existing suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, payment terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluations and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal TechPoint Golledge / Group departments to understand their requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly.
- Analyse inventory levels, demand forecasts and consumption patterns to optimise stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
