The Role
The role of a SCaaS Sales Manager at TechPoint is crucial for electronics Supply Chain as a Service (SCaaS), managing the complex process in driving growth, optimising the process for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, building relationships and expanding the customer base.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans working alongside Sales Director to expand the customer base. Explore new markets and opportunities for business growth and identify and pursue business opportunities through networking and partnerships.
- Drive order intake activities for new logos or new projects from existing key customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients. Understand client requirements and propose suitable supply chain solutions and address customer concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sell our SCaaS solutions offering: supplier relationship management, strategic procurement, planning and demand management, inventory reduction, kitting and distribution, KanBan and Consignment agreements, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, internal sales, production and quality assurance to ensure customer requirements are met. Provide feedback from clients to internal teams for service improvements.
- Prepare detailed proposals and quotations for significant opportunities from potential clients. Customise supply chain offerings based on client requirements.
- Regularly review objectives and sales targets and work towards achieving or exceeding them. Develop pricing strategies. Collaborate with the internal sales team to close deals and generate revenue.
- Prepare regular sales and business development reports foryour line manager.Analysesales data and trends to make informed business decisions.
- Ensure customer data and activity is properly recorded using the CRM system.
- Create and manage own leads and pipeline, being proactive to open doors to drive and grow new business opportunities.
