The Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised Apprentice Sales Administrator to join our team within a fast-paced Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales support, customer service, and commercial operations while working towards a recognised qualification.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the account management team with day-to-day administrative tasks, helping ensure smooth communication with customers and efficient processing of orders and enquiries.

Responsibilities
- Support the account management team with order entry and updates in internal systems
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g. production, procurement, engineering) to track order progress
- Help manage customer enquiries and ensure timely responses
- Support the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and presentations
- Monitor email inboxes and respond or escalate queries as appropriate
- Assist with scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
- Provide reception cover during lunch breaks and annual leave
- Learn and follow company procedures, quality standards, and compliance requirements
- End-to-end sales order process within an EMS environment
- Customer relationship management and communication skills
- Basics of electronics manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Use of ERP/CRM systems
- Commercial awareness and business operations

Skills & Attributes
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook)
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Interest in business, sales, or administration
- Commitment to completing an apprenticeship programme
